On the Glenn Beck radio show, he told his listeners “have children.” Does this include people with anger management and drug problems? What was Beck smoking?

I just happened to catch his little segment while driving on a highway. He was talking about how great it was to have kids, and that people should have kids. He was encouraging procreation.

I swear, Glenn Beck said at least two times, “Have children.” He may have used the exact words, “So go and have children.”

But whatever his exact phrasing, the radio show host clearly was encouraging everyone to reproduce.

This advice should never be just thrown out there. You never know who’s listening – someone who’s easily manipulated by recommendations by celebrity talk show hosts.

Yes, that’s right: It’s easy to believe that someone who heard his advice then decided to take it – even though they’re barely able to properly take care of themselves, if at all; even though they’re a drug addict or alcoholic who can’t hold a job; even if they’re prone to violent outbursts.

Not all humans should procreate. There’s a saying: Having children is a privilege, not a right. There’s another saying: Some people have no business having kids.

When my sister did her internship rotation in an emergency room during medical school, she’d report that babies and young kids would come in with bruises, even broken bones – inflicted upon them by their parents.

Heaven forbid if any such indivuals were listening to Beck that day.

Were homicidal people listening to Glenn Beck that day?

Many people listen to Beck’s radio show. Lord knows how many are capable of killing their own child. Here are some alarming facts:

In the U.S., studies consistently show that a significant share of child homicides are committed by parents.

A systematic review of homicide data across 35 countries (including the U.S.) found that a median of about 56.5% of child homicides are committed by a parent, with higher proportions in high-income countries (about 64%).

Earlier U.S. crime data from the FBI Uniform Crime Reports similarly found that biological parents or step-parents were responsible for about 29% of child homicides overall.

Many of these cases involve infants and preschoolers (not surprisingly, as this age group is the most helpless and too young to report the abuse to a trusted adult).

But you don’t need the data to be convinced that an alarming number of murderers of kids are their parents!

And let’s not forget about the ones who don’t die; the ones who survive beating after beating all throughout their childhoods.

Just google “beaten child” and hit “News” and see what comes up. Kids have been beaten into comas by their mother or father, left with permanent brain damage.

And here we have Glenn Beck telling people, “Go have children.” He’s raging out of his mind.

His comments excluded qualifications such as, “I’m not recommending this among teens or unmarried people who are struggling financially or battling mental health demons.”

He just outright kept urging, very generically, for humans to make copies of each other. What – there’s too much food in this world to go around?
